Creating School Group Tours

We create customized trips for school groups by spending time with parents, teachers and administrators to discover what is being taught in the classroom. We then plan a trip that extends the learning into the community. The American Heritage Tour is by far our most popular trip which may include:

  • Boston

  • New York

  • Philadelphia

  • Gettysburg

  • Washington DC

Some schools choose to add a tour of Harvard University to their time in Boston or West Point Military Academy to their time in New York. Other schools add a Broadway Play in New York or a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge.

Gettysburg fits well into the 8th grade curriculum but a trip to Hershey Chocolate World highlights the contributions of industrialist/philanthropist Milton Hershey.

Washington DC has a myriad of options including meeting with Congressmen and Senators at the United States Capitol and touring Mt. Vernon. Many groups want to spend time at Smithsonian Museums, or may choose to tour the National Museum of the Marine Corps or the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
