Language Immersion Trips

Partnering with service groups like Nicaragua Resource Network, Our Heritage Tours creates 10 day Spanish immersion experiences that include:

• 30 Hours of direct instruction by native Spanish speaking teachers and 30 hours of field experience partnered with a Spanish speaking buddy.

• Cultural exploration including museums, national parks, sporting events and historical sights.

• Service components incorporated into the language experience as well

Science Exploration Trips

Partnering with organizations like Midgard Base Camp in Hvolsvollur, Iceland, Our Heritage Tours creates 10 day science exploration experiences that include:

• Explore the surroundings of the famous Eyjafjallajökull, the volcano that erupted in 2010

• Discover amazing and breathtaking south coast sites such as Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, Reynisfjara the black sand beach and Dyrhólaey island

• Ice-walk at Sólheimajökull Glacier and get an introduction to the glacial world

• Hike Reykjadalur (geothermal area) and bath in a hot river

• Explore the Icelandic highlands with its vibrant colors and otherworldly landscapes
